DO-SI-DO
An object in motion stays in motion. The "color" of kinetic energy. You may think red carries the most energy due to its bold nature. However, on the visible light spectrum, the shortest wavelengths have more energy. The quicker the frequency of the vibrations, the more energy something possesses.
Blue shows up in many of my pieces on purpose. I'm consistently drawn to the vibrant color of my painter's tape. What’s typically used to block things off, becomes part of the inspiration of the build instead.
With subtle nods to delftware and cyanotype processes, this piece moves between control and fluidity. It feels mapped out, but never rigid. Like a plan that left room to breathe.
